Project Spotlight: The Showstopping Heirloom
What happens when a performer wants to hit the stage as a vibrant, high-fashion tomato? We get to work. This project was a masterclass in "concept-to-costume" collaboration. My client and friend came to me with a playful vision, and together we engineered a garment that balanced whimsical character design with the technical requirements of burlesque.

Creating a silhouette that felt "plump" and organic while remaining lightweight enough for movement.

We focused on structural lightweight boning to create that perfect roundness without sacrificing the performer’s mobility.

A custom, non-restrictive, and cheeky costume that stood out under the spotlights and handled every reveal with ease.
